#1 · Guided walk From about €48 Dogo Onsen culture walk: bathhouse, shrine & food
A guided walk through the hot-spring quarter — the Botchan Karakuri Clock, Isaniwa Shrine and the Honkan — with local snacks and stories.

Every bookable GetYourGuide experience we could verify for Ehime, ranked and grouped by destination — with an honest account of the gaps.
Ehime is not Kyoto: you will not find hundreds of competing tours here. GetYourGuide’s catalogue for the prefecture runs to roughly two dozen genuine products, most of them launched recently and concentrated in Matsuyama, Dogo Onsen, Uwajima and the Hiroshima end of the Shimanami Kaido. That short list is still useful — a licensed guide in Matsuyama or a guided walk in Dogo adds real depth — and it has the usual advantages of reserving now, paying later and cancelling free on most bookings.
We list only products that exist. Where a destination has nothing on the platform, we say so and tell you how to arrange things locally instead.
Ranked for how much they add to a trip, how well they fit a typical itinerary and value for money.

For the places below there were no local GetYourGuide products when we checked in October 2026. Their tours pages explain what to book locally — the Tonaru minibus in Niihama, cormorant-fishing boats in Ozu, pottery workshops in Tobe — and show the nearest genuinely useful alternatives.
Useful bookings for getting to and around Ehime: the nationwide rail pass, an airport transfer, and tours from the Hiroshima and Onomichi side for those arriving across the Inland Sea.
Rail pass From about €331 The nationwide pass covers the Shinkansen to Okayama and every JR limited express in Ehime. Worth it only on a longer, multi-region trip.
Day trip From about €107 The classic guided day in Hiroshima — an easy add-on before or after the ferry crossing to Matsuyama.

For private guides, brewery visits and anything on a cruise-ship day, yes — a week or more ahead is sensible, because there are few providers. Castle, ropeway and bathhouse tickets are bought on the spot.
Local operators run them, but we found none on GetYourGuide. Most visitors rent a bike and ride independently, which is easy; see our Shimanami guide.
Yes. A guided day trip covers Matsuyama Castle, Ishite-ji and Dogo Onsen using the fast ferry, and you can also do it independently on the Super Jet in 70–80 minutes each way.
Many Ehime listings are new. We show ratings only where GetYourGuide has published reviews, and we do not invent scores.
