Ehime.com is a travel portal devoted to a single prefecture. We built it because Ehime deserves better than a paragraph at the end of a Shikoku chapter: it has a castle, a hot spring and a cycle route that would each be the headline attraction almost anywhere else, and a dozen smaller places that most guidebooks barely mention.
How the site is organised
The home page and the region-wide guides — getting there, the travel guide, when to go, itineraries and where to stay — cover Ehime as a whole. Each of the eleven destinations then has six pages of its own: an overview, tours and tickets, things to see, getting there, a travel guide and when to go.
How we research
We work from official tourism and transport sources, operators’ own information and published references, and we check tour listings against the booking platform itself. Opening hours, fares and timetables in Japan are revised every year, usually in spring, so we give prices as approximate figures and flag anything — renovations, seasonal flights, road closures — that you should confirm before travelling. If you spot something out of date, please tell us.
How we are funded
The site is free to use and carries no display advertising. When you book a tour through our GetYourGuide links, or a hotel through Trip.com, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. That never determines what we recommend: we list only real products, say plainly where coverage is thin, and point you to local booking channels when they are the better option. Details are in our affiliate disclosure.
Ehime.com is not an official tourism office and is not affiliated with Ehime Prefecture or any municipality.
